Acres of Hope has several projects dedicated to local income generation. 

The piggery has created much needed local income through the years. Right now the new piggery is under construction on a lot adjacent to the AOHU School property. This is the 2025 priority for Sustainable Business Development. Note: The Ugandan government required AOHU to move the piggery away from the AOHU school property.

Farming produces fruits and vegetables to both supplement the children's diets and to sell to the community. 

Cows produce milk that supplements the children's diets and sometimes there is enough milk left to sell locally. 

Any gift to this fund will be used toward the highest priority project at any given time.
